What do you think of the chistian present given to my grandmother?
Hi,
I don't really believe in god, but my grandmother is a firm believer and I have found an old catholic medal with my iron detector the other day.
there is a holy virgin printed on it with some praying text.
I think that the age of the medal is around 100 years old. Maybe a bit more, but not much.
Well, I love this grandmother so much and I rarely see her, so I have given her this medal thinking that she could enjoy to keep that to get chance, good health.. what you want. Since she is never very expressive and hide his feelings, I don't really know if it was a good idea or not.
Do you think that it was nice to be given that thing ? It has allready be worn by someone of course.. someone that has lost it a long time ago.

@Pangel : the original owner is probably allready dead. I was asking about it because it's "used", thinking that it could be a bit embarassing to give something that was around the neck of someone else first.
