Cross Medal Crucifix

Christians...HELP ME WITH THIS!?

Hi, I am thinking about making a rosary for myself. And I watched a bunch of tutorial videos. They were helpful. But...

- I don't think I will have enough money to buy that little knot-tier thing. If there any way I can make one, or is there another way I can make a big knot?

- Do you think they would sell crucifix or cross beads at a normal bead shop?

- Will beads be cheap?

- Can I make a beaded cross instead of buying one?

- How do I add the medal to my rosary?

- Where can I find a medal?

- Do I NEED a medal?

I went to the Vatican a couple of years ago and I wanted to get some rosary's for my family, I found some to be as low as 1 dollar out side the Vatican and 5 dollars inside the Vatican, I also bought a few that were a couple of hundred dollars in price. The one thing that I learnt was that there were thousand's of different rosary's at the Vatican...so some were made in China, some in Thailand and some even in Rome. Nothing made one more special than the other other than the price or the look of the rosary. What really matters is the faith which you put behind it, the amount of beads, colors, types, metals have no meaning unless you yourself put meaning behind them.

I would suggest that you make one that allows you to be comfortable with it, something which shows the love which you carry and the faith which you profess.
