Should I give my boyfriend an engraved St. Christopher's medal/pendant for our one-year anniversary?
I thought it'd be really romantic to give my boyfriend a St. Christopher medal for our one-year anniversary. The back would have our initials engraved inside a heart, and I'd give it to him with the following note: "To keep you safe while we're apart," or something like that. I got the idea from woman that gave something similar to her Marine husband, but I don't know if my boyfriend will like it. He's Catholic, so he'll certainly appreciate the context. Unfortunately he's not much a trinket kind of guy (like most men, he likes items he can use). Any thoughts?
I think that is an amazing idea! My boyfriend is a simplistic guy as well but he wears a St. Christopher medallion. It looks great on him and he wears it every day- he loves it!
It's romantic, thoughtful, and has lots of meaning to it. I say you go for it! A small gold pendant with a gold chain would look amazing!
