The Saint Benedict Medal?

Hey, I just wanted to know a few things about the St. Benedict medal.
First off i am looking to buying one, but I dont know if I should buy a cheap one or an expencive one. I want it to last a long time, and I dont want to lose it all of a sudden. I found this one on a website, but its worth $35.99, and then i found a REALLY cheap one on another site worth 0.15 cents. Should I buy one thats worth 20-40 dollars, or buy one thats worth .10 cents - 10 dollars?

Also, about getting it blessed. I know it has to be done by a priest, but how do I go about chosing a priest, or asking them. Do i just show up at a church and ask them to bless it for me? Does it cost any money to get it blessed? I live in Colorado, and I dont know what church or nothing. Anything would help. Thanks.
