okay so every year for varsity cheer we each chose 2 varsity football players and give them cute gifts through out our "cowhide" week
cowhide is our huge cross town rival game...

we have to give them like one thing a day and then the night before we have to decorate their room...
i neeed help lol

some ideas i thought of was
a football filled with candy
care packages (sports drinks,etc)
a cake with their number on it

our school colors are blue silver and white
and our mascot is the Rangers

Find any newspaper articles about games they have played or pictures of them in the papers, and put them in a frame.
They love to read about themselves in the paper.
Just one idea, if I had to give them something everyday for a week I would check what else they were interested in outside of football and give them something related to that.
Horses, motorcycles, other stuff that they like.

PhotoShop Toolbox Help?

Okay, I used PhotoShop Elements 2.0 last night, everything fine, did some work saved it, shut it down...now today I open PhotoShop elements, open a picture and suddendly I cannot successfully select a tool from the Toolbox. I have selected: Magic Wand, Crop, Paint Fill, they all appear to select okay but when I return the cursor to the picture all I get is the 'Hand Tool' icon and it won't let me do anything.

What is going wrong and how can I fix it? As far as I know I have not changed any settings, and all my udates are installed. I have tried closing and opening the program, but the problem remains...

Please help, this is vital

You are using a really old version of Elements so remembering what may work for your version is going to be tough.

Try these things:

1. Hit the spacebar.

2. Try resetting the preferences. You may have to look this up in your help file. Most versions you do this by holding down the ALT + CTRL + SHIFT keys when you start Photoshop.

3. Are you working in 32bit depth? If you are, then change to 16 or 8bit. (if these are even options in Elements 2, I can't remember)

4. The possibility of a bad font is a potential problem (and usually happens with font collectors who install every font they can find on the web).

Career decision help, PLEASSE!!?

Hi guys,

I am re-asking a question that nobody answered that I need some helpful/ insightful advice on. I am planning to undergo training as a jeweler, and would like to know if working for a retail or manufacturing jewelry outlet would be more "financially sound" than persuing to start my OWN jewelry business online? I will be working with gold, platinum, fine and sterling silver, as well as diamonds and similar-valued gems and materials; I would expect to make most of my jewelry inspired by vintage jewelry (1800's through 1960's), and a lot of people buy rings and necklaces as well as other jewelry from other places, so it would be a hot commodity...what do you think I should do, or what would you do in this instance? Thank you so much for your time in helping me out!! D

I wish that there were an easy answer. Unfortunately, this is a question that many people have and the answer varies by person. Both options have their ups and downs:

Working for a company allows you to have a guaranteed paycheck but many find it boring and you will not have the freedom that you would if you went into business for yourself.

Additionally, the way that the economy is now, I am sure that jewelry retailers have suffered so it may be hard at first to get things started (at least right now).

With the limited amount of information that you provided, if it were me, I would work for an established company until things start to pick up again and then venture into business yourself. While you are working, try to use the time to build connections and network as much as possible.
