Sterling Silver Crucifix
is sterling silver jewelery safe to wear in the shower?
i wear a sterling silver crucifix all day and all night but was told that keeping it on when showering could damage the metal. is this true?
or will i be okay if i don't take it off to shower?
sure it's "safe"
but after a few times its gonna get rusty & dull and possibly turn green depending on the quality. unless its real white gold or real silver, it WILL rust from water. even real gold and silver can get worn down by water and loose its shine/sparkle. i recommend you take it off when taking a shower if you want it to stay shiney and new looking. i promise you wont be damned to hell for removing the crucifix while batheing lol.
